A good conditioner doesn't have to coat your hair to soften it.
Therapy Botanical Conditioner starts with organic aloe vera juice — our first ingredient, the same hand-filleted gel we use in everything else we make. The conditioning system is built around plant-derived agents that detangle and soften without silicones, sulfates, or quaternary ammonium compounds. Behentrimonium methosulfate — derived from rapeseed, one of the gentlest detangling agents available — works alongside cetearyl alcohol, panthenol, and olive oil to leave hair smooth and easy to manage. Peppermint and tea tree finish with the same cool, clarifying note as the shampoo.
What you'll notice is what's missing. No film. No buildup. No squeaky-stripped feeling. Just soft, manageable hair that doesn't need silicones to look like it does.
What's actually in it
Organic aloe vera as the foundation. Behentrimonium methosulfate as the primary conditioning agent. Cetearyl alcohol — a fatty alcohol that smooths the hair cuticle. Panthenol (B5) for strengthening. Olive oil and glycerin for moisture. Peppermint and tea tree essential oils for scent and scalp balance.
Why this matters for color-treated hair
Sulfate-free and silicone-free is the gold standard for color-treated hair care. Sulfates strip color. Silicones create buildup that interferes with future color services and dulls the strands over time. This formula avoids both, which means it's safe for color-treated, chemically processed, and bleached hair — not as a marketing claim, but as a consequence of what's in the bottle.
