A very basic wrist brace
I have used various wrist braces in my time as I work on the computer a lot. Some you can wear while working; some are for nighttime—this is the most basic I’ve encountered. It’s pretty much a band or strap with a hole and some velcro. It seems to be well made; the stitching seems high quality. The inside seems to allow for sweating.Of course, you can wrap it as tightly as you’d like. Compared to other braces, I find the thumb hole to be a bit small and snug, and that the thumb “flap” or end doesn’t really lay flat or tightly around that part of my hand when I’m trying to use it to work. If it were real snug at that end, I’d be able to use it to type, but I find that it’s a little awkward and gets in the way. (I have pulled it tighter, etc.) I’ve included probably too many pictures to demonstrate. Perhaps that thumb flap will flatten down in time?The advantage of this brace is that it’s very lightweight, therefore, it doesn't offer a huge amount of support, imo. I guess it depends what you’re looking for and what type of wrist support you need.
