Not Bulky and It Works!
When I ordered this I did not realize that it is basically one long piece of material with a thumb hole that you wrap around. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this simple approach actually works pretty well. I basically wanted this for my right wrist when I use a mouse at a computer. The thin material works well to provide the necessary support but doesn't add unnecessary bulk to the palm area.

Not enough support for my thumb
I have developed a bit of an issue with my thumb more than my wrists latel. I was hoping that this brac from Maeteria Minimalist would be just the thing so that I could brace my thumb but still be able to do more dexterous work that I do.I have to say that while there is decent wrist support with such a basic piece of equipment, my thumb was not at all supported. The thumb tab is just meant to hold the wrist brace in place, so it does not work for me.

Minimalist but Not Snug Against Thumb
It's a nice wrist wrap, very easy to put on however it does not snug up where the thumb is. I get that it's one sized but I wasn't expecting that it would pop out like that. It doesn't really impact the usage, however it does rub the webbing of the hand a bit. For added comfort, wear a thin cloth around the thumb or a thumb brace. If you are only looking for a wrist wrap, you could wrap the entire thing around your wrist and it could be modified to be a purely wrist brace and give you the same compression support. Wearing it only for the wrist works best for me at this point and it may be for you as well, if you are looking for an affordable wrist strap.

No bells/whistles; lightweight
This wrist brace doesn’t have any metal imbedded, can be used on either hand, is washable and able to tighten/loosen … all great features! Nice secure Velcro!

OK, but thumb hole too small
This is an ok brace. My 1 big complaint is that the thumb hole is too small. it fits, but is tight.

Love the low profile
I love that this brace is low profile and not bulky, just because I'm hurting doesn't mean I can stop using my hands. This is the perfect combo between support and function.

Either hand
I like that this wrist wrap isn’t a brace. It’s more flexible, light weight, and thin. You can use it on either hand.

Good for left or right hand
This is simply a flexible Velcro strap with a hole in it for the thumb. Genius idea! Just put the thumb in the hole and wrap it around the wrist. It closes via the Velcro ends. My husband suffers with his wrists sometimes from work related injuries. This wrap compresses the area giving it support and relieving most of the pain in the joints. It will work on either hand and folds neatly to fit anywhere. My husband says this item helps him a lot when his pains flare up.

Average at best
This is a functional enough little wrist brace but it's not very comfortable. The edges chafe quite quickly with their thick seams, but it DOES fit a large hand, so you win some and you lose some. The material is decent enough, it isn't super high quality though, feels like it might wear out quickly. The person in the house who needed it doesn't like it unfortunately thanks to that chafing, which was my first impression of it when I tried it on too.
